Xiaomi ships 13.5 million wearable devices with a market share of 8.8 percent, followed by Samsung with 13 million gadgets and Huawei with 10.2 million.

Apple Watch shipments rose about 45.6% thanks to various Apple Watch Series 6, SE and Series 3 price ranges, and shipments of AirPods, AirPods Pro and Max increased during the quarter. For all of 2020, IDC estimates that Cupertinos shipped 151.4 million wearable devices, representing 34.1 percent of the market.

Apple does not provide specific data on the number of Apple Watch and AirPods shipped, so IDC figures are estimates. During its January earnings report, the company said that wearables set a new revenue record in the first quarter of fiscal 2021, which corresponds to the fourth calendar quarter of 2020.
