The Asus ZenFone 8 mini smartphone model with powerful performance seems like it is currently becoming a new target for gadget lovers. Like the iPhone 12 Mini, which is the initial role model of the small cellphone series.

Unfortunately, no one has worked on such a smartphone on Android. But soon, Asus is expected to be the first to introduce a mini version of the Android smartphone, similar to the iPhone 12 Mini.

Yes, recently there is news about Asus preparing a mini smartphone series called the Asus ZenFone 8 Mini, which is estimated to be launched later this year.

However, a new report reports that the ZenFone 8 phone has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site. It seems that the Taiwanese tech giant can test the performance of the phone internally before it is officially launched.

Previous reports have revealed that the ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini’s model number is ASUS_I006D / ASUS_ZS590KS. Then on the Geekbench 5 site, the handset has appeared with the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.

In the list, the SoC is mentioned with ‘lahaina’ and a base frequency of 1.80GHz. The smartphone scored 1121 and 3662 scores in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. As reported by Mysmartprice yesterday, Thursday (4/15/2021).

In addition, previous leaks have also revealed that the ZenFone 8 Mini is also rumored to be carrying a 5.9-inch FHD + OLED screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

Regarding camera setup, this phone will include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 camera and a new Sony IMX663 lens. It is unclear whether this device will have dual lenses in the camera setup or vice versa.

Another speculation is that the ZenFone 8 Mini will likely feature a Cirrus CS3SL45 amplifier. Although the battery size is not known yet, the TÜV SÜD certification reveals that it may carry support for 30W fast charging.

Other details of the phone have not been revealed. Packed with a 5.9-inch screen, the handset will most likely debut as the most compact flagship phone with the SD888 chip. If this smartphone is really officially launched by ASUS, then this will be a breath of fresh air for small cellphone lovers.
