Electronic Arts (EA) once announced that they are preparing a title game New Battlefield for mobile devices. Good news, EA has opened pre-registration Battlefield Mobile through the Play Store for the Indonesian region.
Battlefield fans in the country should be proud considering that EA is only holding the initial beta phase in limited locations.
The company initially announced that Battlefield Mobile would arrive in 2022. However, the beta version is likely to be available to players in the near future.
“We will launch Battlefield Mobile starting with a series of play tests in Indonesia and the Philippines. The first one will start in fall 2021, and is only available on devices Android. As we continue testing, we will expand the test size as well as add new territories,” wrote an official statement from an EA representative via the community website.
Based on the announcement above, game FPS this is the plan to enter a series play test in the range of September, October and November.
EA also explained that Battlefield Mobile includes free-to-play so it will be free game. However, they also provide cosmetic items and purchases for certain in-game access.
The phone’s specifications haven’t been announced yet, but they only explain that the game will run on Android 7.0 or higher.
Report from SlashGear states EA provides a number of additional slots for those who want to taste the beta test on the FPS game.
Beta tests can only be done by invitation and the system is on a “first come first come first” basis. The description on the Play Store also mentions some of the available classes including Assault, Support, Medic, or Recon.
Battlefield Mobile is specially made for mobile games, where we can’t find any cross-play feature.
