Game distribution platform Ubisoft Store made the game Far Cry 3 free for PC until 10 September.
The Far Cry 3 game was distributed free of charge on the Ubisoft website ahead of the release of Far Cry 6 which is planned to be launched on October 7, 2021.
This was confirmed by Ubisoft through their official Twitter account.

The first-person shooter (FPS) game was first released in 2012.
Far Cry 3 is the third installment of the franchise. The players will be invited on an adventure with Jason Brody who is a tourist who is stranded on a tropical island called Rook Island.
Jason has the main mission to save his lover Liza who is being held hostage by the antagonist named Vaas Montenegro, as quoted from Slashgear.
To get this game for free, you can do the following.
- Login with your Ubisoft account via the official Ubisoft Store website via a browser
- Visit Ubisoft link the following to claim Far Cry 3 – https://t.co/QheFVN2keT
- Click get free (get it for free)
- If successful, a notification will appear asking you to download the Ubisoft Store launcher. When it’s installed, select launch Ubisoft Connect for PC.
- Finally, login via Ubisoft Connect which has just been downloaded, then activate Far Cry 3 on library.
