This means, starting April 1, 2021, unsubscribed users can only make group video calls of one hour (60 minutes) duration per session, with a maximum of up to 100 participants.

Although the duration is limited, Google still does not impose a limit on the number of video conferencing sessions a free user can take in a day. In other words, free users can still make more video teleconferencing sessions if the duration runs out, a maximum of 24 times a day.

In addition, it should also be noted that the duration of one-on-one video teleconferencing or with a maximum of two participants, can still enjoy unlimited video calling services for up to 24 hours.

Previously, unlimited free usage began in April 2020, when Zoom so ended on September 30, 2020. However, Google extended its period to March 31, 2021.
