A developer has found several fraudulent apps in the App Store over the past few months. His latest find is especially interesting. This is an online casino disguised as a child’s play. The app bypasses Apple’s in-app purchases and charges users money.
Jungle Runner 2k21 describes it as a “fun running game” for kids 4+ (the game has already been removed in the US). However, if you open the game in other countries or through a VPN, it turns out to be a hidden online casino with its own payment system.
There has been a similar case before, when a developer using the same strategy added a banned Iranian application to the App Store.
Fake ads are also used to promote the new Jungle Runner app.

The game in the application, of course, works, but it is as primitive as possible and with a bad design. Because users trust the App Store, they think the game is safe.
Jungle Runner has been available in the App Store for several months and has even been updated a couple of times. In some reviews, users write that the money was withdrawn from them, but they never received the promised.
It looks like the developer of Jungle Runner has another app of the same kind.
