Xiaomi has begun to distribute the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update to Russian users of its smartphones. The update carries the number MIUI 12.5.6 RU Stable and adds several improvements to the devices.
This update is already receiving the Poco F3 model, and in the future it will be available for smartphones Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G, Mi 10T, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Poco F2 Pro. In some other countries, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update began to spread earlier, so many models released for the Chinese, Indian and global markets also began to be updated. In Russia, they are usually sold under the guise of Eurotest.
MIUI 12.5 Enhanced optimizes hardware and software. The update improves file storage performance, makes memory fragmentation more efficient, and improves resource allocation in RAM and ROM. All this helps to reduce the load on the processor and battery, extending the battery life of smartphones.
Xiaomi is also developing an even larger MIUI 13 update. It was planned that it was supposed to appear in the summer, but its release is delayed – approximately until the beginning of 2022.
