In January of this year, LG announced that the Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud game streaming service would appear on the company’s TVs. Today it became known that the project was launched in beta mode.
According to the press release, this week, owners of selected 2021 smart TVs will be able to install the beta version of the gaming app from the LG Content Store.
According to company representatives, users of devices that use 4K OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell TV technologies will be the first to be able to download the Nvidia GeForce NOW service. It is also reported that the service will be provided in 80 markets.
The application will allow owners of compatible TVs to access not only paid games, but also 35 free ones, without requiring additional equipment, except for a game controller. Games will be available at 60 frames per second at 1080p.
When the service will be available on other LG smart TVs is not reported.
