Traverse-Insectoid game mode has come on PUBG MOBILE, added gameplay and a new experience shrinking to the size of an insect in intense and explosive combat.
Equipped with unlimited homing missiles, players who are reduced to insectoid can fly in the laboratory area to eliminate fellow insectoids or normal sized players.
But watch out for the dangerous pots of normal sized players. This content update is now playable and available for free through the App Store and Google Play Store.
In Traverse – Insectoid game mode, 5 labs titled ‘Human Lab’ will randomly appear in the Erangel map, enter and find the Quantum Transformation Device engine. With the machine allows players to use shrink technology and change to the size of an insect.
In this state the player can only use homing missiles with unlimited ammo. By shrinking to the size of an insect, players have advantages such as flying and are almost undetectable to normal-sized players.
Even normal sized players can’t hurt you with ordinary weapons, but be careful because the pot can knock you out while flying around the laboratory. Be careful, for those of you who are insect-sized if you are too far from the laboratory it can turn you back into a normal size.
In addition, players with insect size can collect Energy Light Points that can be used to teleport to other laboratories using the Wormhole Device or use the Energy Store in the laboratory to exchange for combat supplies containing weapons, ammunition and level 3 helmets which are very useful in battle.
It’s important to remember that the ultimate goal of the Traverse-Insectoid game mode is still the same as the usual battle, so make sure you’re the last player to get the Chicken Dinner!
“Through the Traverse-Insectoid mode, we wanted to create a different way of enjoying the game with a new gameplay, dedicated to fans. PUBG MOBILE around the world,” said PUBG MOBILE Marketing Manager SEA, Jenny Zhuang.
“In this mode, players can shrink and explore the battlefield like never before, offering a unique microcosm experience and exciting gameplay. The new mode also encourages players to rethink their strategy to win matches in either insect size or full size.”
In addition to the Traverse-Insectoid game mode, PUBG MOBILE also launched the Royale Pass Season 19 with the same theme with an exclusive insect-themed outfit that has entered its 4th week of missions. Players are expected to be able to complete their missions to be able to raise the rank of Royale Pass to the maximum level.
