Currently the lineup of the Redmi K40 has a Gaming Edition model. The smartphone is also said to come with the Dimensity 1200 chipset from MediaTek. But there are people who do not really like the chipset.
That’s what makes Redmi now present a new variant of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition which will come with the Snapdragon 870 chipset. Now it has also hinted at the presence of the smartphone in the near future.
One of the famous leakers on Weibo, Digital Chat Station, also confirmed that Redmi will release the K40 Gaming Edition which is powered by Snapdragon 870 and is said to have quite good performance.
“Quite similar to the previous configuration, the processor will be changed to Snapdragon 870, will present strong competition,” wrote Digital Chat Station on its Weibo post.
With the presence of this new variant, of course now potential buyers of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition can choose the chipset they want to use on this smartphone.
