A Rockstar Games just informed the site PC Gamer that a solution created by a hacker who left the loading of GTA Online 70% faster will be implemented in an upcoming update.
A user known on Github for tostercx claimed to have found a way to reduce the charging time of the GTA Online by 70%. In addition, the hacker even released an unofficial update with all files changed and asked Rockstar Games to fix his game.
Contact the site PC Gamer, a Rockstar Games answered:
“After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that the player actually revealed an aspect of the game’s code related to the loading times of the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved
Likewise, the company also added that it will launch an official update with the player’s correction and thanked the efforts in improving the GTA Online.
“As a result of these investigations, we made some changes that will be implemented in an upcoming title update.”
Despite not being confirmed by the producer, the hacker must still receive a monetary reward, as the Rockstar has a system that monetizes programmers who find flaws in GTA Online e Red Dead Online.
The official update for reducing load times for GTA Online still has no official release date, but it should arrive in the coming weeks.
