Samsung is recruiting beta testers for One UI 4.0 based on Android 12

Samsung has announced the release of the One UI 4.0 based on Android 12. The release date of the update is still unknown, but Samsung is already recruiting people who want to test it.

The beta version of One UI 4.0 should soon be released in South Korea, it will be available for the latest flagships – Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Subsequently, it can be installed on other models (primarily flagship) outside South Korea. Users are now encouraged to register for the beta in the Samsung Members app and will be notified when an update is available.

One UI 4.0 will receive most of the innovations implemented in Android 12, including dynamically adjusting the interface of the operating system and applications depending on the wallpaper. The shell will also have updated and improved apps and proprietary settings from Samsung. It is possible that the announcement of One UI 4.0 will take place on August 11 – on this date, the company has scheduled Samsung Unpacked event, at which several new devices will be presented.
