Telegram Developers implemented innovations that have been tested over the past few months. The messenger now has group video calls and the ability to share screen images with interlocutors.
You can turn a voice chat in a group into a video conference. To do this, you need to activate the video mode by pressing the camera button. The broadcast expands to full screen when you click on it, you can also pin the video of one of the interlocutors to see only him and not other people.
Up to 30 people can participate in a video conference at the same time, the rest of the connected ones are added to it only in audio mode. The limit will be increased soon. You can broadcast the image from both the front and rear cameras of the device, you can also start a stream of what is happening on the screen (including in parallel with the broadcast from the camera).
For audio and video chats, noise cancellation has been improved, and the group calling interface has been optimized for tablet and computer screens (for example, on a computer, voice chat starts in a separate window).
Other improvements in the new version of Telegram:
- Animated backgrounds for chats
- Animation when sending messages
- Separate button for launching the menu in bots
- More convenient import of stickers
- New animated emoji
Soon, all these innovations will appear in Telegram on all supported platforms.
