Vivo is rumored to be releasing a new smartphone in China this month. Now, the company has confirmed that the Vivo S10 will be coming on July 15 in the home market.
Lisa, one of the Blackpink members who is a model of the Vivo S7 and S9 series, will promote the Vivo S10 Series to attract public interest. The Chinese text at the bottom right of the poster states that the handset featured in the poster is the Vivo S10 Pro.
The Vivo S9 series includes two phones such as the Vivo S9e and Vivo S9 which are powered by the Dimensity 820 and Dimensity 1100 chipsets, respectively. It is likely that the S10 lineup could consist of Vivo S10 and S10 Pro handsets.
In the poster, the Vivo S10 Pro is seen flaunting an amazing gradient blue color like its predecessor S9 series. Leaks have claimed that the S10 Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to feature a 108-megapixel camera.
The poster confirms that the Vivo S10 Pro’s triple camera system is led by a 108-megapixel camera. For specifications, the Vivo S10 Pro will likely have a 6.44-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen with a larger notch for its dual 44 megapixel front camera. The Dimensity 1100 is likely to fuel the S10 Pro with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The S10 Pro is expected to offer 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. While there is no word on the battery capacity, it is expected to support 44W fast charging. There is no information about the S10 Pro’s additional camera. It may offer users other features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor, Android OS 11 with OriginOS 1.0 UI, and NFC support.
