Xiaomi has introduced the first smartphone from the new Civi line. The novelty received a thin and light body thick – 6.98 mm and weight – 166g.
Xiaomi Civi is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch rate of 240 Hz. At the top of the front panel there is a 32 MP front camera. The main camera is equipped with three sensors, the main sensor is 64 MP, supplemented by an 8-megapixel “width”, the third sensor is a 2-megapixel macro lens.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 flash drive, is responsible for the computing capabilities in the smartphone. The user can choose from the following modifications of RAM / ROM: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB, respectively.
Two physical SIM cards can be installed in the gadget, support for 5G networks, WiFi generation 6, Bluetooth version 5.1 and an NFC module for contactless payment is declared. The satellite navigation system supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and Beidou. A 4500 mAh battery with support for 55 W fast charging is responsible for the autonomy of the device. Among other things, the new product has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, USB-C and all the necessary sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor and lighting. A fingerprint scanner is built into the display. The smartphone out of the box runs on the Android 11 operating system with the MIUI 12.5 proprietary shell. Xiaomi Civi is available in three colors: pink, light blue and black.

The start of sales in China is scheduled for September 30, and pre-orders are already open. It is unknown when the global version of the device will appear.
