Xiaomi unveiled the flagship smartphone Mi 11 Ultra at the end of last month. It was the first device from the company to receive IP68 water protection. The company decided to emphasize this advantage by unpacking the flagship underwater.
Recall that the IP68 standard allows devices to be submerged to a depth of 1.5 meters, but no more than half an hour. The video demonstrates the performance of the smartphone, as well as the process of underwater photography. It’s worth noting that this is not as easy as it sounds, as the touchscreen behavior underwater is unpredictable.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is equipped with a top-end Snapdragon 888 processor and a 6.81-inch AMOLED screen with a frequency of 120 Hz. The novelty also received a 50 MP main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor and a liquid lens that provides a 128-degree viewing angle.
