Xiaomi is delaying the release of MIUI 13. In anticipation of this update, an interim update will be available to some users – MIUI 12.5 Enhanced.

As reported by GSM Arena, the stable version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced has begun to arrive on Poco F3 smartphones in a number of European countries. Previously, this update was tested in China, and will soon begin its widespread distribution, including in Russia.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced firmware for Poco F3 has technical number 12.5.6.0.RKHEUXM and has a relatively small size of 466 MB. It is downloaded over Wi-Fi and installed with all settings, applications and user data saved. In MIUI 12.5 Enhanced there are no noticeable innovations (they were reserved for MIUI 13), but there are quite a few improvements to existing capabilities (for example, an increase in the stability and smoothness of the interface). In addition, this update adds the August security patch, but it comes to smartphones without the new firmware, so it’s not a huge achievement.
